While we have been focusing on the incredible doctors at Sylvester during National Cancer Research Month, we also want to honor the outstanding nurses at Sylvester as May is also Nurse Oncology Month! As many of you know, The Pap Corps has a program that provides scholarships that will allow Sylvester’s oncology nurses to further develop their careers. Today, we focus on Jessica MacIntyre, M.S.N., APRN, Executive Director of Clinical Operations at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and also the co-founder of Florida’s only oncology fellowship program developed for nurse practitioners. She is the recipient of the 2018 AANP State Award for Nurse Practitioner Advocacy.
