Francine and Jay from the Addison Reserve Chapter

Frankie and Jay Oberst met while both students at Penn State University. Interestingly enough, they met while on the dance floor! He like the way she moved, and he kept asking her to dance, even though they were at a fraternity party with other dates!

They married in 1963 and raised their two daughters in Northern New Jersey. Jay worked in the investment business and had his own financial advisory firm. Frankie was a psychiatric social worker and had a private practice, along with working in psychiatric hospitals.

They have a home in Stratton, Vermont where skiing was always the family passion. Unfortunately, Jay had to give up skiing recently because of some hip problems, so that’s when they decided to winter in Florida. After renting at Addison Reserve for two years they purchased a home there, and their four granddaughters love visiting. Frankie and Jay are delighted that their love of dancing will help raise funds for cancer research, and they hope you vote for them!
