Nancy and Hewitt from the Villaggio Reserve Chapter
Nancy immigrated to the US with her parents, who were sponsored by a Jewish organization that placed Holocaust survivors in cities throughout this country. Living in lower east side of Manhattan, Nancy become an assistant to a psychiatrist at Metropolitan Hospital. She married in 1967 and has 4 children and 12 grandchildren.
Growing up, Nancy watched her parents enjoy dancing at Roseland Ballroom. Later, she developed an enjoyment of dance as well, especially belly dancing, a talent she likes to showcase at her local community events at Villaggio Reserve. Where, she became involved with the Pap Corps. Nancy works to raise funds for cancer research in memory of her mother who died from brain cancer.
Hewitt was born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, New York. He came to Florida 40 years ago and was in private practice as a clinical psychologist for 18 years. During that time he became involved with The American Cancer Society. He developed and ran support groups for cancer clients and their significant others before becoming a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator. Hewitt is honored to be working with The Pap Corps and to be dancing with Nancy to raise money for such a worthy cause.
